The Rainbow Paw Squad™ was inspired by my Sophie girl, who crossed the Rainbow Bridge on June 2, 2021.

For nearly sixteen years, Sophie filled our lives with joy, love, and the kind of quiet magic only a dog can bring. She had a way of touching hearts — not just ours, but everyone lucky enough to meet her.

But Sophie was never alone.

Over the years, our home was filled with a lively pack of Yorkies — each one with their own personality, quirks, and irresistible charm. Together they created a house full of laughter, companionship, and the kind of unconditional love only dogs know how to give.

Though some of them now run free beyond the rainbow, their spirit remains woven into the story of Mon Ami Furry Designs.

The Rainbow Paw Squad is our way of honoring them — and sharing that love with dogs still waiting for their chance at a happy life.

August 9th was Sophie’s birthday.

Each year, we celebrate her life by kicking off the Rainbow Paw Squad Annual Donation Event.

From August 9th through August 31st, Mon Ami Furry Designs donates $5 for every shirt sold to help dogs in need.

Every donation goes directly to Beastly Rescue in Brooklyn, New York, supporting their mission to rescue, rehabilitate, and place dogs in loving homes.

Because every dog deserves the chance to be someone’s Sophie.

Every Rainbow Paw Squad purchase helps dogs who are still waiting for their second chance.

Each year features a brand-new design created especially for the event.

The 2026 tee, designed by  Mon Ami, is themed “Love Moves With Me.”

It’s a small way to celebrate the dogs who changed our lives — while helping other pups find the love they deserve.

These Yorkies filled our home with laughter, love, and unforgettable personalities. They are the heart behind the Rainbow Paw Squad and the inspiration behind everything we do.

Most of their names now live in the rainbow — a reminder that love never leaves the path we walk together.
