Neck: Measure around the neck where your pet’s collar naturally rests. The measuring tape should not be too tight, nor should there be any added space between the measuring tape and your pet’s neck.

Chest Girth: Measure around the fullest area of your pet’s chest. The measuring tape should not be in your pet’s armpits. The measuring tape should not be too tight, nor should there be any added space between the measuring tape and your pet’s chest.

Length: Place the start of the measuring tape where your pet’s collar naturally sits. The collar represents the neck seam on your pet’s outfit. Following along your pet’s spine, measure the distance of your pet’s back just before the base of the tail (do not go beyond the tail). If you do not wish for your outfit to be that long, then choose your desired length with this measurement.

Underbelly (for male pups): Place the start of the measuring tape where your pet’s collar naturally sits on the front of the neck (under your pet’s chin). The collar represents the neck seam on your pet’s outfit. Take the measuring tape between your pet’s front legs, following along the belly, to just before your pet’s little boy parts. This measurement will help to prevent potty accidents.

Broad Chested Breeds (ex. Bulldog): Place the measuring tape in one of your pet’s armpits and follow along the chest horizontally to the opposite armpit. Additional width between the front legs is typically required for broad chested breeds.

Sleeve Length: Place the measuring tape in one of your pet’s armpits and follow along the inside of the front leg vertically. Provide the length measurement that you would like for the sleeve. You do not need to provide the full length of the leg. Sleeve length is standard and looks great on most breeds. However, if your pet has longer or shorter legs, or you prefer your sleeves on the longer side, you may wish to add a sleeve length to your measurements.

This feature will offer you a size recommendation based on the chest girth of your pup. This will guide you in selecting the accurate size to add to your cart. Once you reach checkout, you will be prompted to enter all your pup’s measurements. This is how we will customize your outfit to meet your pup’s needs. Please review the instructions carefully prior to entering any measurements. If you have any questions on how to measure your pup, please contact us.

If you are a returning customer and have created an account with us, your pup’s measurements are already stored. You will not need to re-enter your measurements unless something has changed. Please help us by keeping your pup’s measurements up-to-date.

We love sibling pups! First, you will need to create an account with us. You will enter the first pup and all applicable measurements. Then you will enter your second pup, and so on. Once you have done this, you will have an option on each product page to select your pup. Please make sure that you have the correct pup selected for the size that you are ordering.

Please launder with care. Wash cold. Do not dry.

Your Mon Ami outfits are made with only the highest quality fabrics. If a human wouldn’t wear it, then a pup shouldn’t wear it. Each piece of your outfit is meticulously hand cut, each ruffle is hemmed and ruffled before it is attached, and each outfit your pup wears is sewn with great attention to detail. Quality inside and out is important; every seam is fully finished for added durability and comfort. Your outfit is made with love and ready to last for years to come.

If you have any special requests for your new outfit, please include them in the “Special Requests” text box on each product page. We can usually accommodate requests such as changing trim placement or trimming an outfit in a different color. Please be very specific when making a special request. If we are unable to accommodate your request, we will contact you.

Outfit mockups shown on product pages are for reference only. Since items are made with love for your pup when ordered, we do not have outfits built in every style that we offer. Therefore, we create mockups to show you what different options will look like when finished. Size and style choice will affect how fabric is laid out on each outfit, and there will be variations from one outfit to another.

Due to the nature of custom items, we do not accept returns/exchanges unless items arrive defective. We cannot accept returns/exchanges for sizing issues that result from incorrect measurements. Please double check your measurements before checkout.

Every item is made with love for your pup when ordered. We do our best to have all items shipped within 2 weeks from the date you order. However, there are certain seasons where it will take longer to prepare your items for shipping. Please review the current turnaround time shown on each product page for more information.
